Receipt to ExcelPreview
See how receipt data can be organized for Excel

A useful spreadsheet still points back to the receipt. This page shows that handoff. It is not an online converter.
The problem
A freelancer who gives an accountant a folder of photos still gets asked which file matches which amount. The task on this page is that handoff: one row, one source file, and visible gaps. It is not bookkeeping, reimbursement, or tax filing.
Inputs
- Available now: the synthetic October files in the sample ZIP. They are already built. You do not upload anything.
- Not publicly available: sending your own PDF or photo to be read. A private development build has accepted PDF and common image files up to 25 MB. That path is closed on this site and is not a promise that every such file extracts correctly.
- Unknown for a future public release: languages, phone photos of crumpled paper, and email attachments. Those limits are not published because the service is not open.
Two ways to get a spreadsheet
- Today, by hand: follow the handoff guide, type the merchant, date, currency, and total, and leave unknown tax blank.
- Planned, and not open: a workspace would store the original, suggest fields, and ask a person to confirm them before export. Exact-file duplicate detection exists only in that private build. Content-level duplicate detection is not a launched feature.
The manual checklist works today. The workspace that would suggest fields is still planned, and it is not an instant converter.
Output
The sample workbook has one row per fictional receipt and a relative link in the Original file column. Columns are document ID, merchant, date, currency, subtotal, tax, total, invoice number, payment method, category, status, review status, and original file. Empty cells mean the source did not show a value. A printed 0.00 stays 0.00. Categories are labels, not tax categories.
Limits
- This site does not turn your receipts into Excel.
- It does not replace an accountant, accounting software, or a required recordkeeping system.
- It does not claim an extraction accuracy rate, a certification, or a supported country list.
- Different currencies are not added together.
When something is missing or wrong
On this public site there is no processing job to fail, retry, or time out. In the planned workspace, an unreadable file would stay with its original and a failed state rather than a guessed total. That behavior is not something you can exercise here. There is no support desk and no response-time promise.
Example
Synthetic example — not real customer data. Corner Coffee shows tax of 0.00 because the fictional receipt prints zero. Harbor Paper leaves tax blank because no tax line exists.
FAQ and privacy
You do not connect an inbox or create a product account to read this page. The sample contains no customer receipts. Retention, deletion, and model-training rules for real receipts are not offered because public uploads are closed. See data handling for what this deployment actually does.
