What we collect at this stage

What this page is for

People should be able to tell what happens to information before they rely on a receipt tool. At this stage the public site publishes explanations and a fictional sample. It does not take receipts.

Information this public site handles

• Pages, the checklist, and the synthetic sample files are static content.
• There is no waitlist form, no product registration form, and no receipt upload on the public site.
• The server can receive a same-origin analytics event with a fixed page or button name. By default that event is discarded and is not forwarded.

Privacy boundaries

Custom button-event forwarding is off. The site's predefined button and download-click events are discarded rather than forwarded to a separate analytics endpoint.

The public website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, visits, referring sites, browser and device categories, and page performance. Cloudflare automatically installs the measurement script on receiptlane.com. This is separate from the custom button-event endpoint above, and it does not measure a completed sample download or accept receipt contents.

Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and says it does not fingerprint individual visitors. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation for its data-handling details. Network providers and the host may also create operational logs; this page does not claim those logs are free of IP addresses.

Real receipt files, extracted text, and account records are outside this public launch. When a private development environment is explicitly enabled, it is a separate access path and is not part of the public offer. Its storage, retention, and deletion behavior must not be described here as a finished public policy.

No model-training choice is published, because this public site does not accept documents to train on. A future policy has to be written by the configured operator before real receipts are accepted.

What is not claimed

• No certification, bank-grade claim, or guaranteed uptime.
• No published retention period for receipts, because public receipt storage is not open.
• No promise that robots.txt keeps private data safe. Private routes are refused by the server unless product access is explicitly enabled.
• Pricing, discounts, and trial quotas have not been announced.
